The New-York based, Chilean-born Aldana is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential voices in contemporary jazz. After being awarded a full scholarship to the Berklee College of Music, she won the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition before earning critical acclaim for her collaborations with top-tier musicians and for her role as a leader on Blue Note Records.
