Haast River Viewpoint

Haast River Viewpoint is a must-see attraction located on the west coast of New Zealand's South Island, overlooking the Tasman Sea. The viewpoint is situated along the Haast Pass, a scenic driving route that passes through the Southern Alps of the South Island. The Haast Pass was a traditional pathway for Maori journeying west in search of pounamu (greenstone).
